Willard Scantland, M.D. provided the first anesthetic to a Metro Denver Anesthesia patient in 1957. Since then, MDA has grown to over 35 Anesthesiologists and 8 Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists. Our group now provides anesthesia to over 25,000 patients per year, serving 20 facilities and over 250 surgeons in Denver.

MDA is committed to meeting the growing health care needs of the Denver community through our dedicated providers. Our providers are on call 24 hours per day, 7 days per week to provide the highest quality anesthesia services from pain management to cardio-thoracic anesthesia.
